Just recently saw the premiere of a new show on (FX) called The Americans. I love how balanced the first episode was. It laid the groundwork for things to come, but also had a good deal of action packed in.

Other than that. I'd suggest: Archer, Game Of Thrones, and Shameless.
I saw a preview for Banshee and it did look pretty good, so I'll probably give it a try soon.
